The colored pencil and watercolor sketch depicting a light green dress with black and white collar and cuffs. Inscribed "Jouneau" upper left and signed lower right. Verso stamped "Premet/ 18.1.1929/ 8, Place Vendome, 8/Paris".

The House of Premet was in operation from 1911 to 1931. Mme Premet was the house's original designer followed by Mme Lefranc and Mme Charlotte. Mme Charlotte designed the house's famous "La Garconne" dress, a simple black dress. Alix Gres began her career as an apprentice.
