In gouache, pen and ink on paper depicting a teapot and espresso maker, with coffee cup and fork in a cityscape. Signed lower right "AR 83". Dimensions noted are framed. Born in Milan (1931-1997), Aldo Rossi was an acclaimed Italian architect of the second half of the 20th century. This drawing which includes his design for "La Conica" espresso maker for Alessi which was manufactured in 1984, bears out his consistent exploration of the relationship of architecture to domestic objects.
